About Dr. Matthews
Dr. Sarah Matthews is the Chief of General Medicine at Medicare Pro, bringing 20 years of comprehensive primary care experience. She trained at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine and completed her residency at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital.
Her approach centres on long-term patient relationships, preventive care, and evidence-based treatment. She believes that understanding the whole person — not just the presenting symptoms — leads to better health outcomes.
Outside the clinic, Dr. Matthews is an active contributor to the American College of Physicians and volunteers at a community health clinic in the Bronx every month.
